Competition: Win a Selection of Great Glyndebourne CDs

Glyndebourne is upon us once again, and to celebrate theartsdesk has a collection of high quality live opera recordings released on the Glyndebourne Label to give away to six lucky readers.

The Glyndebourne Label was launched in 2008 and has since released almost 20 CDs. The aim is to provide opportunities to hear not only the best of the iconic summer festival’s current work, but also some of the greatest performances from its sound archives. Ranging from a 1960 recording of Falstaff to a 2010 Billy Budd, each release is a vividly realistic aural document of the original live performance.

Six theartsdesk readers will win one CD, selected from:

Falstaff (1960)

Theodora (1996)

A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2006)

Hansel und Gretel (2008)

For a chance to win a Glyndebourne CD all you have to do is answer the following questions correctly before midnight GMT July 7 2012. Winners will be chosen randomly from correct answers and notified by July 15 2012.
