Housed in a landmark industrial building on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, BALTIC is a major international centre for contemporary art.

We are currently recruiting for a Media Relations Executive to assist with the effective planning, development and delivery of the media and PR strategy for BALTIC placing coverage across regional and national media for the organisation in line with the business plan and programme offer.

The successful candidate will have substantial comparable experience working within a busy PR team along with strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills. Thorough experience of delivering media and public relation campaigns as well as an understanding and appreciation of contemporary art is essential.
