Jarvis Cocker, Josh T Pearson and Charlie Fink (Noah and the Whale) have signed up for autumn shows as part of Artangel's Sounds from a Room series of shows streamed live from the Room for London installation on the roof of Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall.

Sounds from a Room streams performances by musicians usually seen in larger venues on the Room for London website [1] and via screens to hundreds of people gathered in various public spaces around the Southbank Centre. Since January, the replica boat has hosted acts from around the worls including Amadou and Mariam, Andrew Bird, Laurie Anderson and Imogen Heap.

Artangel's programme also incorportates A London Address - a series of monthly writings and recordings from voices such as Michael Ondaatje and Jeanette Winterson - and the Ideas for London competition designed to uncover Londoners' ideas to make their city a better place.
