Wilko Johnson autobiography
Wild man of white boy rhythm 'n blues and Herman Munster lookalike, Wilko Johnson, is finally spilling the beans on life with Dr Feelgood, Ian Dury and growing up on Canvey Island. Looking Back on Me, co-written with Zoe Howe will be released on Wednesday May 30th. In addition to his account of a life in music, the book will apparently also contain his reflections on art, literature poetry and science. There will also be many previously unseen photographs.
- Wilko Johnson will give a one-off book signing at Rough Trade East at 6pm on Wednesday May 30th followed by a Q&A and a half-hour set from his band.
