26 March-7 April: a 2-week season by St Petersburg's "other" ba llet company, the Mikhailovsky Ballet, making its 3rd visit to London. nBallets by Nacho Duato, in addition to classics Giselle, Don Quixote, a nd Laurencia, will feature Mikhailovsky Theatre ballet stars Natalia Osipo va, Ivan Vasiliev (both ex-Bolshoi), and Leonid Sarafanov (ex Mariinsky) , as well as invited soloists Polina Semionova (Berlin) and Marcelo Gomes ( ABT). 26-29 March: Nikita Dolgushin’s version of Giselle, danced by Pol ina Semionova and Marcelo Gomes/ Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev/ Olesya Novikova and Leonid Sarafanov. 30-31 March: Don Quixote with the stellarOsipova and Vasiliev in the evening shows, and Oxana Bondareva and Denis Matviyenko in the matinee. 2-3 April: Laurencia, a rousing production f rom the ‘golden age’ of Soviet ballet, with Osipova and Vasiliev. 5-6 April: Nacho Duato, the Mikhailovsky's artistic director, will present hi s full-length ballet Multiplicity. Forms of Silence and Emptiness, with Po lina Semionova. 7 April: an evening of three Nacho Duato one-act balletswill give the London audience a vivid and comprehensive impression of the choreographer’s renowned original style.
