Finnish oddball circus tours in June
Finland’s Race Horse Company returns to the UK with a circus spectacular Petit Mal, a success on its first visit here two years ago. The tour starts at Stratford Circus, London on 1 & 2 June, then visits Oxford's Playhouse and Poole Lighthouse, ending at Cardiff's Sherman Cymru on 16 & 17 June.
The circus artists of Race Horse Company have emerged from the Finnish underground theatre scene. Break-dancing, martial arts and hip-hop moves fuse with trampoline solos and juggling. The soundtrack is by Tuomas Norvio incorporating music by Bob Dylan, Joy Division and DJ Shadow. The UK tour of Petit Mal is presented by Crying Out Loud.
