The full programme for this year's London Jazz Festival has been announced. Running from Friday 9 to Sunday 18 November, the 10-day event includes premieres, talks, family events, films and workshops. In total, there are over 250 shows in more than 50 venues across the capital.

London's biggest city-wide music festival kicks off with Jazz Voice: Celebrating a Century of Song, with Guy Barker once again taking on conducting and arranging duties. Featuring the 42-piece London Jazz Festival Orchestra, this year's typically eclectic vocal line-up features Brendan Reilly, Claire Martin, Gwyneth Herbert, Junior Giscombe, Patti Austin and reality TV graduate, Natalie Duncan.

Now entering its 20th year, the festival's rich mix of international and UK artists includes Sonny Rollins, Herbie Hancock (his first ever UK solo concert), Mahavishnu Orchestra/Shakti founder John McLaughlin, Brad Mehldau, Chick Corea, Jack DeJohnette, Jan Garbarek, Bill Frisell, Kurt Elling, Marcus Roberts, Egberto Gismonti, Paco De Lucia, Soweto Kinch, Beats and Pieces, Arun Ghosh, Shabaka Hutchings, Gwilym Simcock, Mercury Prize nominees Roller Trio, and much more.

Festival favourites Esperanza Spalding brings the killer hooks of latest release, Radio Music Society, to the RFH while the Robert Glasper Experiment (RFH) play from their latest crossover hit, Black Radio. The festival is produced by Serious in association with BBC Radio 3, who are broadcasting over 40 hours of material.
