Second series of Silk on BBC One

The battling barristers of Shoe Lane Chambers return for a second series of Silk, written by Peter Moffat. Regulars Rupert Penry-Jones (as Clive Reader) and Maxine Peake (Martha Costello) are joined by newcomers Frances Barber, Phil Davis and Indira Varma, and there'll be an appearance by Shaun Evans, who played the young Inspector Morse in Endeavour. Martha has got silk and Clive hasn't, so the fur will be flying. The new series will start on BBC One in late April or early May.
