Who Wants to be a Millionaire? ITV1

Hello, My names Pupinder Basson I LOVE the show, I was watching (who wants to be a millionaire) on Tuesday the 5th October 2010 on ITV1. And there was a question for the gentleman (JOHN SWEFT), What does the Indian word MURGH mean? Lamb Lentils ? Chicken I feel sorry for the man, as I think he had an unfair disadvantage, as Chris Tarrant pronounced MURGH right, I am Indian and know that it was pronounced wrong, when I had the question I though what the hell is MURG, as the answers appeared, I know: • A) lamb, I knew that was wrong • B) Lentils, when it came up, I thought oh, he meant MUNG/MOONG DALL (Mung could be spelt MUNG or MOONG) and DALL means Lentils. • C) ? My brain had switched off, as I thought it was B) lentils • D) Chicken My brain switched back on again, and I read the question and realised that it was MURGH, which is chicken. It pronounced MURG-HE; the H in murgh is Strong. I believe if the word was correctly said, he would have had a better chance at getting the answer right. Because our brains are amazing its funny how we store things in our head, and something we don’t thing we know. And I think he should be given another chance, what do you think, I would love to know.
