A multimedia spectacle about the beginning of time by twin brothers Bryce Dessner and Aaron Dessner of accla imed American rock band, The National, and British-born visual artist Mat thew Ritchie. The title is a reference to the Mayan calendar of the same na me that features in the creation myth Popol Vuh. Aaron and Bryce Dessner we re born in Cincinnati in 1976, the year the Cincinnati Reds beat the Yanke es to win their second back-to-back World Series of baseball.
