It looks like live comedy will be impossible for a while yet, but there are lots of things going on to keep us entertained. This is just some content available this week.

Monday 27 April: Good Ship Comedy
Virtual pub night for comedy and music; among those on the bill tonight are host Ben Van der Velde and Athena Kugblenu.
Tuesday 28 April, 8pm: Outside the Box
Maff Brown and Eleanor Tiernan are on the line-up, live on Zoom, with a video contribution from Omid Djalili.
Tuesday 28 April, 8pm: XS Malarkey
Live-streaming comedy, as if from the Manchester club. Tonight's line-up includes Jessica Fostekew, Mrs Barbara Nice and Adam Hess.
Wednesday 29 April: Mr Swallow: Houdini
Nick Mohammed has made his show (recorded at Soho Theatre in 2017) available to stream from today (read the review here) for a small fee, which all goes to charity.

Friday 1 May, 9pm: Mark Watson's Watsonathon
Mark Watson starts another live 24-hour show, this time via webcam, with some comedy mates to help him.

Friday 1 May, 7.30pm Jack's Night In
Jack Gleadow's variety show, as live from his bedroom (and bathroom), plus guests.
Saturday 2 May, 8pm: the Isolation Song Contest
One of the most disappointing casualties of live entertainment during lockdown – and provider of much unintended comedy – has been the Eurovision Song Contest. But comedian Tom Taylor has come up with a brilliant alternative in the Isolation Song Contest, where his mates from comedy, entertainment and drag enter their own songs. Among those competing are Mel Giedroyc (representing Italy), Tim Vine (Romania) and Flo and Joan (Iceland, whose official song was thought to be a shoo-in for the real thing). Money raised goes the the Trussell Trust, Crisis and Refuge.
Saturday 2 May, 8.30pm Saturday Night Live at The Stand
As from the Edinburgh venue, recreated at the home of host Mark Nelson, with the line-up to be announced.
