Mark Sheerin
Bio

Mark has been writing about art since 2009. He’s written book chapters, journal articles, reviews and features for about a dozen different titles, and close to 700 posts on his blog criticismism. He has a good working knowledge for getting from station to art gallery in most UK cities. And his many topics of interest stretch from the dawn of painting (circa 40,000 years ago) to the dusk of civilisation (which we appear to be living through now). Mark has a PhD in History of Art from the University of Sussex and once found himself camping, in Sussex, next to a very incongruous Turner Prize-winner, with whom he swapped barbecue tips.
