Minchin and Katy B for Somerset House
The Summer Series, the annual concerts at London's palatial Somerset House, have announced their line-up for July 2012. It runs the gamut from Australian musical comedy performer Tim Minchin (also composer of the music to the musical Matilda) to contemporary rave-pop queen Katy B, covering indie (The Enemy, The Temper Trap), soul (Jill Scott), Afrobeats and much else along the way. The line-up is as follows: July 7th, Tim Minchin, 8th, Katy B, 9th and 10th, Jill Scott, 11th, The Temper Trap, 12th, Anna Calvi, 13th, The Enemy, 14th, DJ Abrantee presents Afrobeats featuring Olu Maintain, Cappo Snoop, Atumpan, Scene May7en, Vibe Squad, 15th, Tindersticks, 16th, M83, 17th, Paloma Faith.
