£21,171 - £25,251 per annum, depending on skills and experience.  Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance

Leading the delivery of excellent customer care across Lakeside’s exciting performing, visual and participatory arts provision, and Museum of Archaeology, the successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of all customer facing/front of house operations across Lakeside.  In addition to the venue programme, this includes liaison with cleaning and catering contractors and the University Estate Office in relation to building maintenance.  S/he will achieve the highest standards of customer care for visiting and resident artists, and members of the public alike.

Candidates should have experience of working in an arts related environment, experience of staff recruitment and development, and of managing a team. Extensive customer service experience, proven organisational and planning skills, a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to remain calm under pressure are all essential.  Candidates must also have experience of cash handling and banking, together with good computer skills.
