Arts Events and Development Co-ordinator
Grade: SO2
Hours: 36 per week
Richmond’s thriving Arts Service seeks a dynamic, committed Arts professional to manage its exciting Arts Events programme and actively contribute to the development of Arts programming and policy in the borough, via sub-regional partnership initiatives and pan-London organisations. With a broad portfolio of dance, literature, carnival, world music, children’s theatre and open studios, this post offers a wide variety of exciting projects. This year the post holder will be responsible for performance as part of the Jubilee celebrations, Big Dance 2012 in Richmond and the borough Outdoor Arts Festival.
The successful candidate will have excellent project management, marketing & communication expertise, an ability to fundraise, as well as an understanding of the needs of the local community, including children and young people.
The post-holder will be based at the Arts Service headquarters at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham, a Grade 1 listed building overlooking the Thames, close to accessible transport routes.
