The Technical Theatre Arts department is growing in anticipation of the Schools expansion into new additional venues at Milton Court. We now require Theatre Technology Lecturer (Stage Technology) to join the team to develop the syllabus and materials for the teaching of Stage Technology at all levels of the programme. This will include but not be limited to automation use and best practice, terminology and architecture of automation systems, control systems (initially eChameleon) features and functionality, plotting and show running techniques to an advanced standard and to best professional practice.

At a more basic level it will include counterweight flying, hardware and fittings and the operation of stage machinery including orchestra pits, powered seating units etc.

Experience of working in a producing theatre and the ability to work with and inspire young people are essential.
